I am loving making Mandalas. The design is meditative, as is the coloring. I remember how my grandmother loved coloring in those geometric design coloring books and I get it now! The color choices completely change the way the design looks! After the first Mandala, I purchased a kids compass and protractor set by Fiskars at Walmart for about $3. It has been a huge help. For this one, I drew about 6 concentric circles to help me keep things even. I mostly borrowed the design from one I found on Pinterest. I'm hoping if I copy a few ideas, eventually I'll have enough ideas to make something totally my own.
